Pre-urban style in the aeneolithic village of Monte Pranu-Tratalias/Villaperuccio - In 2008, the drying up of Monte Pranu artificial lake allowed several precise reconnaissances (using also low altitude air pictures) of the submerged settlement. Before, only the plan of a habitation was known in the archaeological literature. The reconnaissance showed the articulate expansion of the aeneolithic settlement, dating back to Monte Claro culture. Later in the Middle Bronze Age, the site was inhabited: some new small vases give evidence of this. They were found at Is Lais, close to a scalloped stele, related to a dolmen-shaped tomba dei giganti, indeed an extraordinary presence in the southern part of Sardinia. In the surroundings of the lake, there are also some dolmen chamber construction and several tombe dei giganti of the a filari type.

Abstract
In the surroundings of the lake, there are also some dolmen chamber construction and several tombe dei giganti of the a filari type.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
