The city of Bosa, situated in the north-western coast of Sardinia, rises on the right bank of the river Temo, on the slope of the Serravalle hill dominated from the Malaspina medieval castle (1112). Città Regia from 1499, Bosa possesses an historical center that has maintained its morphologic and tipologiche characteristics unchanged. The old nucleus presents a system that can be divided in accordance with three various morphologies. All the informations drawn from the historical cadastre, like the cadastral maps of 1866, 1875, 1907, have been reversed in a GIS, allowing the immediate production of the thematic maps.
