The QCD evolution of the unpolarized Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) distribution and fragmentation functions and of the Sivers function have been discussed in recent papers [1, 2, 3, 4]. Following these results we reconsider previous extractions of the Sivers function from SIDIS data and propose a simple strategy which allows to take into account the Q2 dependence of the TMDs. Clear evidence of the TMD evolution can be seen in the available data, mostly in the newest COMPASS results for Semi Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering (SIDIS) off a transversely polarized proton target.

Abstract
The QCD evolution of the unpolarized Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) distribution and fragmentation functions and of the Sivers function have been discussed in recent papers [1, 2, 3, 4]. Following these results we reconsider previous extractions of the Sivers function from SIDIS data and propose a simple strategy which allows to take into account the Q2 dependence of the TMDs. Clear evidence of the TMD evolution can be seen in the available data, mostly in the newest COMPASS results for Semi Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering (SIDIS) off a transversely polarized proton target.File in questo prodotto:
