Il bastione di San Remy a Cagliari. Indagini conoscitive per il recupero e valorizzazione di un complesso monumentale.

The bastion of Saint Remy is the outcome of a series of project implemented since the Middle Age and completed in the end the nineteenth century. In this area it is possible to find many historical structures object of recently excavations and representative of different phases of the modern fortifications and late transformation. The different spaces are currently lacking of a functional link, that, if implemented, would allows to connect, crossing the historical structures, the different levels of the city and the creation of a single functional space for cultural activities. Starting from the analysis of archival documents, this contribution shows a design project aimed to improve the knowledge of the monumental complex and the connections between different parts of the city.
