The need for a dielectric cover is very important in waveguide slot arrays, especially in aerospace applications, mainly for protection, thermal insulation, aerodynamic purposes or pressurization of the radiating waveguides. In this paper we evaluate the circuital properties of a waveguide longitudinal slot with multilayer dielectric cover.
