Abstract
The decommissioning of the historic monumental complexes, consequent to the new prison management plan, leads us to reflect on the subject of their reuse. The Sardinian situation, because of the high number of cases and also the fact that the buildings are so big, is particularly significant for the role that these monuments can play on a small and large scale. The study investigates the functional potential that the Buoncammino Prison in Cagliari and the Oristano Prison may be able to have on the city, and the effects that the reuse project can trigger in tangible and intangible terms.File in questo prodotto:
