Allergies strike about ten per cent of world population and, among these, the most common and diffuse in springtime is the pollen allergy. Starting from this consideration, we had the idea of realizing at the Botanical Museum of the "Dipartimento di Scienze Botaniche dell'Università degli Studi di Cagliari", a section devoted to show the pollen grains of the most important species which are responsible for pollinosis. A didactic exposition has been realized as a way constituted of numerous wax models provided with detailed explanatory cards.

Abstract
