Abstract — The current study analyses the influences stress at work has on educational relationship and in particular on the mediation of learning exercised by the teacher in the relationship with the student. The research was conducted among teachers in lower and upper secondary school in Italy through the use of two self-reporting questionnaires. Emerging from the analysis, teachers displayed the characteristics of elevated stress levels due to relations achieved lower point values in Intentionality and Reciprocity in the teaching-learning process and in Significance in respect of their colleagues who had lower levels of stress.
