MIH: A survey amongst dental practitioners in Modena and Reggio Emilia districts = MIH: Indagine conoscitiva tra gli odontoiatri nelle province di Modena e Reggio Emilia

OBJECTIVES The study aims to: investigate the perception, experience and therapeutic choices of dental practitioners working in districts of Modena and Reggio Emilia regarding MIH syndrome; to evaluate any differences in the answers between pedodontists and general dentists and between workers in relation to years of activity. MATERIALS AND METHODS The questionnaire was realized and then sent by e-mail to the members of ANDI and to the Dentists' Register of the aforementioned districts. RESULTS Most participants say they have experience with MIH and consider it a clinical problem; the opinions about therapeutic options are different. CONCLUSIONS It's desirable to organize updatings'courses and to set up precise guidelines on therapeutic strategies.
