Investigating ancient landscapes and lost territory uses is a crucial task for archaeology: for this objective achievement, non-invasive and wide area geophysical techniques are an important scientific tool to be integrated in historical reconstruction studies being able to permit a “highlyprobable” visualization of signs left under ground (and waters) by ancient civilizations. This is, once more, here demonstrated by the application of integrated geophysical methods to the wide archaeological area of Nora: results of standard (i.e. traditional electrical resistivity tomography, ERT, and ground penetrating radar, GPR) and innovative (GPR array towed by vehicles or ERT in shallow saline waters) applications are presented and interpreted as a tool for the reconstruction of ancient settlements urban structures. New neighborhoods are discovered, as a probable Amphitheatre is located at the entrance of the peninsula of Nora and underwater structures of unknown dating are revealed.
