The article aims to highlight, in Thus spoke Zarathustra, of Nietzsche´s confrontation with the history of the culture, particularly with the Greek world and with the original Christianity. In order to delimit the subject, the text initially focuses on some aspects of Nietzsche's reception in European culture between the years 1900 and 1920, discussing the judgments and positions of Georges Sorel, Ernst Troeltsch, Marx Scheler and Martin Heidegger.

Abstract

The article aims to highlight, in Thus spoke Zarathustra, of Nietzsche´s confrontation with the history of the culture, particularly with the Greek world and with the original Christianity. O artigo se propõe a ressaltar a relevância, em Assim falou Zaratustra, da confrontação de Nietzsche com a história da cultura, particularmente com o mundo grego e com o cristianismo originário. Para delimitar o tema, o texto aborda, num primeiro momento, alguns aspectos da recepção de Nietzsche na cultura europeia entre os anos de 1900 e 1920, discutindo juízos e tomadas de posição de Georges Sorel, Ernst Troeltsch, Marx Scheler e de Martin Heidegger.
