This letter describes the 2-year follow-up of a 7-year-old girl with very-early-onset schizophrenia (VEOS), nonresponsive to risperidone and aripiprazole monotherapy and successfully treated with clozapine augmentation of aripiprazole. After drug-induced neutropenia, a rechallenge with aripiprazole–clozapine was made possible by adjunctive lithium carbonate, with a stable management of white blood cells (WBCs).
