Territorialization, expression of structuring power, is closely linked to speech from which the strategic function of geographical dictionaries results. In the international production, compared to the French publishing industry, to the Spanish-speaking one and to the English-speaking market, Italy does not shine. The recent proposal of the Association of Italian territorialists is not exhaustive nor solidly founded: it opts for a rigid disciplinary separation between physical and human geography.
