The creativity and semantic indeterminacy of verbal language can be exploited to the maximum degree by literary language, which “plays” with the linguistic rules and/or “plays” with the rules of the literary system. By teaching to read and understand literary texts, both linguistic education and literary education can be developed. It is therefore appropriate to return to the great theorists of the twentieth century, who were at the same time linguists and literary critics – among them, Roman Jakobson and Mikhail Bakhtin.

Abstract
The creativity and semantic indeterminacy of verbal language can be exploited to the maximum degree by literary language, which “plays” with the linguistic rules and/or “plays” with the rules of the literary system. By teaching to read and understand literary texts, both linguistic education and literary education can be developed. It is therefore appropriate to return to the great theorists of the twentieth century, who were at the same time linguists and literary critics – among them, Roman Jakobson and Mikhail Bakhtin.File in questo prodotto:
