Abstract

Speech is free in its combinations, while confirming the general force of fixedness. The foregrounding of speech by Saussure places us in the tradition of poetics. Jakobson and Benveniste emphasize the great importance of poetics in fixedness as well as in the creativity of language.

La parole est libre dans ses combinaisons, tout en confirmant la grande force du figement. Le fait de la parole mis en relief par Saussure nous situe sur les traces du poétique. Jakobson et Benveniste soulignent la grande importance du poétique dans le figement aussi bien que dans la créativité de la langue.
