Natural frequencies of nanostructures (nanotubes) was recommended on the basis of measurement of natural frequencies of an extended system that consisted of a highly oriented array of identical nanostructures while conducting an experiment. The spectrum of the natural frequencies of the large system can be separated into two components of which one of the component of the system spectrum corresponds to the natural frequencies of single nanoobjects. The method for determining the natural frequencies of the nanoobjects that were developed for the nanotubes mounted in parallel to the substrate, is generalized. Behavior of the system with horizontally located nanotubes differed from the behavior of a similar system with vertically located nanotubes since the horizontally attached nanotubes changed the effective stiffness of the plate. The theoretical and numerical analysis also proves that natural frequencies of nanotubes can be experimentally determined on the basis of proposed modifications.
