This paper comes from the experience of distance learning lessons held during the current academic year, which leads to further concerns about the present and, above all, the future of classroom teaching. It keeps together consolidated theoretical reflections, in particular with regard to the concept of immunity, with considerations more related to current events and borderline experiences in the more general field of education-training- eaching theories and practices. In this regard, there is a reflection on the relationship between these and the overwhelming emergence of digitization in all fields of cultural and social experience. It ends at a crossroads: the risky passage between the urgency of a radical renewal of didactics and its more and more likely progressive extinction, at least as it has been known and practiced until today.
Lo scritto nasce dall’esperienza delle lezioni a distanza svolte nell’anno accademico in corso, che conduce a forti inquietudini sul presente e, soprattutto, sul futuro della didattica in presenza. Tiene insieme riflessioni teoriche consolidate, in particolare relativamente al concetto di immunità, con considerazioni più legate all’attualità e a esperienze di confine nell’ambito più generale delle teorie e pratiche dell’educazione-formazione-insegnamento. A questo proposito si esplica una riflessione sul rapporto tra queste e l’emergere prepotente della digitalizzazione in tutti i campi dell’esperienza culturale e sociale. Si conclude davanti a un bivio: il rischioso passaggio tra l’urgenza di un rinnovamento radicale della didattica e la sua sempre più probabile progressiva estinzione, almeno per come essa è stata conosciuta e praticata sino a oggi.
