The aim of the article is to include the Condaghes ˗ abbey registers written in Sardinian between the 12th and 13th centuries ˗ in the wider framework of the medieval cartularies tradition, in order to investigate their memorial strategies and editorial methods in the light of the most recent studies on monastic cartularies. The Condaghe di Santa Maria di Bonarcado ˗ which is examined in detail – reveals a thematic nucleus ascribed to the oldest drafting of the cartulary and based on typical strategies of legitimization of monastic power which are common to the coeval monastic registers of the European area.

Abstract
The aim of the article is to include the Condaghes ˗ abbey registers written in Sardinian between the 12th and 13th centuries ˗ in the wider framework of the medieval cartularies tradition, in order to investigate their memorial strategies and editorial methods in the light of the most recent studies on monastic cartularies. The Condaghe di Santa Maria di Bonarcado ˗ which is examined in detail – reveals a thematic nucleus ascribed to the oldest drafting of the cartulary and based on typical strategies of legitimization of monastic power which are common to the coeval monastic registers of the European area.File in questo prodotto:
