This essay presents the first results of an archival and diplomatic research on a notarial registry produced by Johan Belero, notary of Perpignan, concerning a phase of the negotiations which took place in 1417 for the purchase of the territories of the Giudicato d’Arborea held by the viscount of Narbone. The author provides an analysis of the material and the formal elements of the registry.
