We report broad band spectral analysis performed on Cyg X-l and Cen X-3 observed by BeppoSAX. The 0.1-30 keV spectrum of Cyg X-l shows evidences of relativistic smearing of the continuum reflected by the cold matter in the disc. The inferred inner radius of the disc is 10 +/- 5 Schwarsschild radii, much smaller than the prediction of the ADAF model. In the hard spectrum of Cen X-3 an absorption cyclotron line is evident at similar to 30 keV. The pulse phase resolved spectral analysis reveals a decrease of the cyclotron energy from the ascent to the descent of the folded light curve. This is suggesting of a complex structure of the magnetic field lines in this source.

Abstract
This is suggesting of a complex structure of the magnetic field lines in this source.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
