Das genitivische d-Demonstrativum zwischen Norm und Variation: Zur Systematisierung von Funktion und Gebrauch einer noch nicht zureichend erforschten Pronominalgruppe

The genitive demonstratives dessen/deren/derer represent a special category of pronouns which are not always given the attention they deserve in grammatical description of German. Compared to other d-demonstratives, their use has not yet been adequately researched in terms of their functional behaviour or their participation in the structuring of information. As a contribution to remedying this situation, the present article aims to provide a systematic description of the grammar and the peculiarities of this group of demonstratives, which are still not well covered in the research literature, and to give a quantitative and qualitative description of their use in present-day written and oral German.

I dimostrativi dessen/deren/derer costituiscono una categoria particolare di pronomi, spesso trascurata nella descrizione grammaticale del tedesco. Rispetto agli altri pronomi dimostrativi con radice d-, il loro utilizzo non è stato ancora adeguatamente analizzato, né in termini funzionali né per il loro ruolo nella strutturazione dell'informazione. Questo articolo si propone di colmare tale lacuna attraverso un'analisi quantitativa e qualitativa del loro impiego nel tedesco contemporaneo, sia scritto che parlato.
