Abstract

The European interest in the regulation of robots stimulated new reflections on the possible recognition of their legal status and brought to light even the oldest theories. The distinction between the different evolutionary stages of artificial intelligence and the decomposition of the concept of status into individual elements, can lead to forms of attenuated electronic personalities capable of satisfying intermediate levels of protection.
