Abstract
Reading again an ancient text written at Cagliari in the Age of Giudici (medieval age) let me pay attention to some details, at the moment neglected. The document starts with a prayer to local and foreigner saints, in particular to Saturninus and Cecilia. The last one had given the name to a church, that was destroyed in 1258. In this paper I have analyzed the birth and the importance of the cult of Cecilia, a roman saint, for the Christian life of medieval Cagliari, in relationship with the cathedral, that is yet unknown.File in questo prodotto:
