Repeated episodes of abdominal pain and diarrhea in a male patient affected by Wilson's disease. Imaging Findings The patient underwent CT-enteroclysis to acertain the cause of recurrent episodes of lower abdominal pain, often with diarrhea, and weight loss in the past 12 months. He had undergone several US examination of the abdomen, and a previous CT examination (pre and post iodinated i.v. contrast administration), without a diagnosis which could explain the cause of the pain. After the entero-CT that we performed, the patient underwent a scintigraphy scan with 99m technetium, to evaluate the presence of heterotopic gastric mucosa in the diverticulum, but the result of the scan was normal. He underwent surgical excision of the diverticulum, with disappearance of the symptoms.

Repeated episodes of abdominal pain and diarrhea in a male patient affected by Wilson's disease.
