This work shows the integration process of the information provided by the power quality meters and digital fault recorders with a wide area monitoring system based on synchronized measurements provided by the phasor measurement units (PMUs). The goal of the integration is to correlate the data based on power quality and fault events with the streams of information provided by the PMUs installed in the area of interest. The applications implemented in the prototype of the integration system provide new functionalities to increase the awareness of the state of the electric grid with the data provided by different measurement devices.

Abstract
