This paper focuses on handful of physicians who moved from Provence and Catalonia to Sardinia, soon after the Catalan conquest of the island in 1323. In particular, it will be analysed the figures of Juceff Fadalo, a Sicilian doctor of great competence, and of surgeon Bonjusas Bondavin, former personal phy sician to queen Maria of Provence, renowned rabbi, undisputed leader of Sardinian Jewish communities and member of the Catalan social class of soldats de caval armat.
