This essay reflects around the dialogue between the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court, legislation of Parliament and doctrine on gender equality in access to public offices. Article 51 of the Constitution and the principle of substantial equality are today a fundamental parameter for verifying the impact of anti-discrimination regulations on economic and social relations. The goal of gender equality has not yet been achieved, but it remains a constitutionally necessary objective.
