Beniamino Servino’s study and research focuses on the composition of figures, with which he intends to convey a thought on architecture. As a ‘form creator’, he draws from his own memory to elaborate new symbols, through the instrument of ‘montage’. In this action of transport/ transfer of forms in time and space, the architect finds new things, without renouncing the principle of historical continuity. This dialogue highlights the solidity of a thought oriented towards the persistence – in the survey/project – of an inventive act based on the continuous adaptation to oneself of the hoped-for forms, in which one’s own emotional state plays a key role. In this sense, Servino’s theories prove to be particularly similar to those of certain authors of the past, as emerges from the references cited in the text, even those not strictly belonging to the discipline of architecture.

Abstract
In this sense, Servino’s theories prove to be particularly similar to those of certain authors of the past, as emerges from the references cited in the text, even those not strictly belonging to the discipline of architecture.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
