In a recent paper, Pan [1] presented numerical results for the characteristic impedance of a large number of coaxial systems with different geometry, and compared them with earlier published results. Here, the recently developed numerical techniques for the inversion of the Schwarz-Christoffel conformal transformation [2] have been used to compare the results presented in [1]. The results agree very well, thus lending further weight to the two calculation techniques discussed in [1] and [2].
