Novel and travel text put into practice our “need for reality”. The author’s gaze captures very broad perspectives. The sequence of the staging is polyphonic. The text has its own music and its own structure, like the infinitely multiple space of the horizon. Beckett’s The Unnamable (1953) is a typology. The text presents multiple planes, as Bachtin notes, that is, spaces that are concentrated in a point, that of the eye and the gaze. The perspectives are convergent and divergent, according to the multiplicity of the planes. Philippe Dufour speaks of a temporal chronotope, following Bachtin. We will instead speak within our intervention of a spatial chronotope. Space and time merge in unison creating a polyphonic mechanism.

Abstract
Space and time merge in unison creating a polyphonic mechanism.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
