The saga of Inspector Montalbano, born from the pen of Andrea Camilleri, after having developed into numerous novels and short stories, becomes a television drama with around fifty episodes. La saga del Commissario Montalbano, nata dalla penna di Andrea Camilleri, dopo essersi sviluppata in numerosi romanzi e racconti diventa sceneggiato televisivo con una cinquantina di episodi creando una serie trasmessa nella televisione italiana e in molte reti all’estero da fine anni ’90 in poi con numerose repliche e grande successo di pubblico. Il saggio, a partire dall’osservazione dell’opera letteraria riflette sulla trasposizione televisiva individuando i caratteri ricorrenti del prodotto.
