The aim of this work is to propose a reflection on the narrative foundations of human life and communication. In fact, the narrative model is our primary system for modeling experience: from earliest childhood, humans naturally tend to think in terms of stories when constructing and interpreting reality, in the form of scenes that form the basis for the constitution of communicative, social, and productive dynamics. Storytelling therefore proves to be a physiological and extremely effective operational tool, both from a communicative point of view and – if we consider the economic and productive dynamics of our society – from the point of view of the strategic management of a company

Abstract

The aim of this work is to propose a reflection on the narrative foundations of human life and communication. In fact, the narrative model is our primary system for modeling experience: from earliest childhood, humans naturally tend to think in terms of stories when constructing and interpreting reality, in the form of scenes that form the basis for the constitution of communicative, social, and productive dynamics. Storytelling therefore proves to be a physiological and extremely effective operational tool, both from a communicative point of view and – if we consider the economic and productive dynamics of our society – from the point of view of the strategic management of a company
