In this study, we present a didactic unit, concerning the lexical variation which characterizes proverbs in Antilles Creole and their equivalents in French, for Italian-speaking adult learners and in a university context of French as a Foreign Language (level B2.1 of the CEFR). To formulate the exercises of the didactic unit, we approach a perspective that takes into account the investigations carried out by cognitive semantics and by theories concerning the teaching of phraseology. We comment on the methodologies taken into account, the typology of the exercises proposed, the skills questioned, the type of audience we are addressing, the language level to be achieved by the learners. This research aims to make a contribution not only to the teaching of French as Foreign Language but also to the analysis of the treatment of lexical variation in the French language.

Abstract
This research aims to make a contribution not only to the teaching of French as Foreign Language but also to the analysis of the treatment of lexical variation in the French language.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
