In Italy too, educational historiography has taken a particular interest in these figures, developing a series of research trails. Among the latest works dedicated to this theme is the book Maestre e maestri della ricostruzione. Una nuova scuola nell'Italia tra dopoguerra e boom economico, edited by Simone Di Biasio and Luca Silvestri, offers a significant contribution, examining ten exemplary but real teachers who promoted a new idea of didactics and schooling. Through an interweaving of biographical, historical-educational and pedagogical investigations, the book offers a rich and stimulating picture of a particularly innovative season of Italian primary schooling.
La ricerca in campo storico educativo e scolastico ha da tempo individuato nelle vicende di maestre e maestri un punto di osservazione privilegiato per comprendere l'evoluzione dei sistemi formativi e la vita "effettiva" delle classi. Anche in Italia, la storiografia educativa ha avuto particolare interesse per queste figure, sviluppando una serie di piste di ricerca. Tra gli ultimi lavori dedicati a questo tema, il libro Maestre e maestri della ricostruzione. Una nuova scuola nell'Italia tra dopoguerra e boom economico, curato da Simone Di Biasio e Luca Silvestri, offre un significativo contributo, prendendo in esame dieci insegnanti esemplari, ma reali, che hanno promosso una nuova idea di didattica e di scuola.
