L'articolo tenta di presentare alcune riflessioni nate durante lo studio sulla presenza dei domenicani in Sardegna. Alcuni primi e parziali risultati evidenziano il profondo rapporto che i frati sardi ebbero, istituzionalmente, con la penisola iberica (soprattutto con la Provincia aragonese) tra il XIV e il XVII secolo. La necessità di approfondire il tema in ambito archivistico è dovuta alla grande carenza di fonti documentarie di questi conventi, che rende difficile anche la ricostruzione storica. Per questo motivo viene presentata un'indagine che parte da due fonti narrative, dalle quali è possibile ricostruire e presentare un primo contesto storico di riferimento, alcune problematiche e prospettive future di ricerca. The article attempts to present some reflections born during the study of the presence of the Dominicansin Sardinia. Some initial and partial results underline the profound relationship that the Sardinian friars had, institutionally, with theIberian peninsula(especially with the province of Aragon)between the 14th and 17th centuries. The need to investigate the topic on an archival approachis due to the great lack of documentary sources of these convents which also make historical reconstruction difficult. For this reason, research is presented that starts from twonarrative sources, from which it is possible to reconstruct and present an initial historical context of reference, some problems and future research perspectives.
