This paper proposes a two-stage methodology for distribution network resilience appraisal. The first stage evaluates the current and the expected future resilience of a distribution network that serves a large portion of the territory on which many distribution networks are located. The second step delves into the study of the resilience of those networks identified as the most critical in the first step. The paper proposes a comprehensive application of the approach to a real-scale distribution system to demonstrate its use for planning resilient distribution networks of the future.

Abstract
This paper proposes a two-stage methodology for distribution network resilience appraisal. The first stage evaluates the current and the expected future resilience of a distribution network that serves a large portion of the territory on which many distribution networks are located. The second step delves into the study of the resilience of those networks identified as the most critical in the first step. The paper proposes a comprehensive application of the approach to a real-scale distribution system to demonstrate its use for planning resilient distribution networks of the future.I metadati presenti in IRIS UNICA sono rilasciati con licenza Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal, mentre i file delle pubblicazioni sono protetti da diritto d'autore, salvo diversa indicazione.
