Gas sensors are increasingly important in an urbanized and industrial society as they are used in a wide range of fields and applications (environmental monitoring, optimization of industrial processes, food quality, medical pre-screening, etc.). This chapter presents the parameters that define the performance of a gas sensor and describes the main types of devices (resistive, FET, Schottky barrier, electrochemical, optical and quartz microbalance) including the influence of nanotechnology and machine learning.

Abstract
Gas sensors are increasingly important in an urbanized and industrial society as they are used in a wide range of fields and applications (environmental monitoring, optimization of industrial processes, food quality, medical pre-screening, etc.). This chapter presents the parameters that define the performance of a gas sensor and describes the main types of devices (resistive, FET, Schottky barrier, electrochemical, optical and quartz microbalance) including the influence of nanotechnology and machine learning.File in questo prodotto:
