The essay concerns the marquis Francesco Antonio Genovés, protagonist of Spanish Succession’s War in Sardinia with his political antagonist (opponent) Vincenzo Bacallar. Both were important art costumers (purchasers, buyers). Particularly, we can see unpublished silver ware, that he presented to the Arciconfraternita of Itria in Cagliari. The sacred objects, datables between XVIIth and XIXth centuries, are interesting evidence of local and import silver production. Keywords: silver, confraternity, Itria, Genovés, Cagliari, Sardinia.
