High performance slot arrays can be designed only by taking into account the external mutual coupling between the slots. Present a subroutine, written in BASIC for the HP86, which computes the mutual coupling coefficient between two slots on an infinite ground plane and with a consinusoidal aperture field distribution. The program can be modified to run on another system since no use of complex variables has been made. At least eight significant figures must be retained in the computation.
