Analisi del corredo ceramico dei pozzetti della capanna 135 di Su Nuraxi (Barumini, Cagliari)

ANALYSiS of PotteRY VeSSeLS foUND iN the weLLS of StRUCtURe 135, iN the ViLLAGe of SU NURAxi (BARUMiNi, CAGLiARi) - in 1955 Giovanni Lilliu published the results of his excavation of the Nuragic complex of Su Nuraxi (Barumini-Cagliari) in the Sardinian magazine “Studi Sardi”. this was the first stratigraphic investigation of a Nuragic complex. Lilliu identified five phases of occupation of the complex: phase A or Nuragico arcaico, phase B or Nuragico i inferiore, phase C or Nuragico i Superiore, phase D or Nuragico ii and phase e or Punic-Roman. in the excavation of structure 135 Lilliu found pottery which he used to identify the phases. in the eight wells within the structure, pottery vessels and carbonized animal bones from phase B were found. in 1982 an article about a number of the vessels was published by Lilliu, however the article did not identify which wells they were excavated from. there is still no agreement among archaeologist as to what part of the Bronze age phase B should be attributed to. from the original excavation diaries it was possible to identify the vessels published in the 1982 article and to identify which wells they came from. By comparing the vessels with vessels from other sites it was possible to date the vessels to the Late Bronze Age 2.
