Lilliu identified five phases of occupation of the complex: phase A or Nuragico arcaico, phase B or Nuragico i inferiore, phase C or Nuragico i Superiore, phase D or Nuragico ii and phase e or Punic-Roman. in the excavation of structure 135 Lilliu found pottery which he used to identify the phases. in the eight wells within the structure, pottery vessels and carbonized animal bones from phase B were found. in 1982 an article about a number of the vessels was published by Lilliu, however the article did not identify which wells they were excavated from. there is still no agreement among archaeologist as to what part of the Bronze age phase B should be attributed to. from the original excavation diaries it was possible to identify the vessels published in the 1982 article and to identify which wells they came from. By comparing the vessels with vessels from other sites it was possible to date the vessels to the Late Bronze Age 2.
