Abstract
The aim of this paper is to explore whether there is a possibility of logical and rational organization of reality. We will therefore examine the reflections on this issue Alfred Schütz proposed in The Problem of Rationality in the Social World (1943). It shows how to Schütz is not at all easy application of the principles of traditional logic to the dynamics that characterize the daily reality. Only through the general categories of science, the observer can build a reality that could not otherwise appear perfectly logical, not calling into question the validity of the rational method, but on the other hand paying the price for reduce the social world in a theater made up of puppets. A sort of "semi-animated puppets" performing in a consistent, rational and logical everything that typological categories of science, from their size purely conceptual impose upon them.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
