This essay offers an overview on the entrepreneurial activities of some Jewish businessmen, both Catalan and Sardinian, who were responsible for focused choices leading to investments on the mainland territories of the Aragon Crown and of Sardinia. The methodology employed involves the analysis of notarial documents drawn up in Barcelona between the end of the thirteenth and the second half of the fourteenth century; these documents are currently held within the archival groups in the Catalan capital.
