This work considers the intellectual meeting of Hofmannstahl and Nadler: two fundamental figures of the cultural panorama of the early Twentieth Century. Both of them, each of the two in his proper way, protagonists of the Habsburg “ideology”. This meeting has been considered in its historical-political extent and in the input it gave to Hofmannstahl idea of a “Konservative Revolution”.
