A preliminary evaluation of the extension that affected the Sardinian crust during Plio-Pleistocene has been estimated on balanced geological cross sections carried out in the Campidano graben, the most important structure related to the tectonic evolution of Sardinia at that time. Furthermore, a preliminary comparison between the style of deformation in the continental side of the Island (Campidano graben) and in its eastern margin (Sardinian basin) is proposed.

Abstract
A preliminary evaluation of the extension that affected the Sardinian crust during Plio-Pleistocene has been estimated on balanced geological cross sections carried out in the Campidano graben, the most important structure related to the tectonic evolution of Sardinia at that time. Furthermore, a preliminary comparison between the style of deformation in the continental side of the Island (Campidano graben) and in its eastern margin (Sardinian basin) is proposed.File in questo prodotto:
