Abstract
The use of the 5-bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) incorporation technique made it possible to induce highly reproducible replication bands in the two Mediterranean species of the order Anguilliformes, Muraena helena L. and Gymnothorax unicolor Del. The early banding patterns allowed the pairing of homologous chromosomes chromosomes and the comparison of the karyotypes of the two species.File in questo prodotto:
