The essay analyses three case studies linked to the editions of the Santarcangelo Festival directed between the 1980s and 1990s by Antonio Attisani, under the sign of a " Shared Work " that could open the theatre and the festival to the changes taking place in the field of art, culture and society: the work of Giacomo Verde, of the "Decoder" group and of the Mutoid Waste Company between ‘89 and ’92. These theoretical-practical interweavings are reconstructed through archival (and often unpublished) documents as well as throught the production of new oral sources, and are studied in the light of the ideas that in that period were spreading around the cyberpunk milieu; in this perspective, it's possible to follow the transition (and the reworking) of the practices of artivism in Italian theatre history, from the XXth century protest movements to the antagonism experiences in the new millennium.

Abstract
The essay analyses three case studies linked to the editions of the Santarcangelo Festival directed between the 1980s and 1990s by Antonio Attisani, under the sign of a " Shared Work " that could open the theatre and the festival to the changes taking place in the field of art, culture and society: the work of Giacomo Verde, of the "Decoder" group and of the Mutoid Waste Company between ‘89 and ’92. These theoretical-practical interweavings are reconstructed through archival (and often unpublished) documents as well as throught the production of new oral sources, and are studied in the light of the ideas that in that period were spreading around the cyberpunk milieu; in this perspective, it's possible to follow the transition (and the reworking) of the practices of artivism in Italian theatre history, from the XXth century protest movements to the antagonism experiences in the new millennium.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
