Code-Mixing und Informationsstruktur im italienisch-deutschen Sprachkontakt in Südtirol: Anmerkungen zum Korpus Kontatto

The present paper will present a study on language contact between Italian and German in South Tyrol. The analysed data are extracted from the corpus Kontatto, a bilingual corpus collected by Silvia Dal Negro (cf. Ciccolone/Dal Negro [2021]). The analysis will focus on the use of code-mixing to mark the information structure in bilingual utterances, i. e. utterances with one or more language switches between topic and comment or between information units in general. These contact phenomena are crucial in bilingual speech and, according to the frequency and diffusion of the specific elements used in code-mixing, can also assume a systematic character.

Il presente contributo presenta uno studio sul contatto linguistico tra italiano e tedesco in Alto Adige. I dati analizzati sono estratti dal corpus Kontatto, un corpus di parlato bilingue raccolto da Silvia Dal Negro (cfr. Ciccolone/Dal Negro 2021). L'analisi si concentrerà sull'uso dell'enunciazione mistilingue per marcare la struttura informativa negli enunciati bilingui, ovvero enunciati con cambio di codice tra topic e comment o, in generale, tra unità informative. Questi fenomeni di contatto sono cruciali nel parlato bilingue e, in base alla frequenza e diffusione degli specifici elementi coinvolti, possono assumere carattere sistematico.
