This paper explores the theme of digital accessibility and the inclusion of people with disabilities in contemporary society, which is becoming increasingly technological. The challenges, opportunities, and implications of technology and digital accessibility are addressed, considering both access to services and opportunities offered by technologies through assistive technologies, as well as the need to make systems, tools, and content accessible and navigable, acting on the obstacles that can make digital environments disabling. The need to ensure digital accessibility is highlighted as an ethical obligation and a practical necessity for all individuals to participate actively and consciously in society. Education and training are essential to guide practices and developments beyond interactions with tools, in an extended and revisited sense from the point of view of the technical, cognitive, and symbolic mediations underlying digital uses by and for people with disabilities. Digital accessibility is a complex challenge that requires a holistic approach that addresses paradoxes and limitations in its practical implementation. The paper concludes by examining the regulatory system operating at different international, European, and Italian levels, taking into account the integration and constant improvement of standards for protecting against discrimination against people with disabilities.

Abstract
The paper concludes by examining the regulatory system operating at different international, European, and Italian levels, taking into account the integration and constant improvement of standards for protecting against discrimination against people with disabilities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
