In the current critical scenario for democracy pedagogy cannot stop reflect on the links between politics and education, also in reference to the contribution of informal and non-formal education to the sociopolitical identity development of groups and individuals. Within the family, political education is largely determined by the parental educational style, as the development of democratic values in children depends on the opportunities they have to interpret the political narratives underlying the methods of governance and control adopted by parents. Today the technological revolution and the resulting transformation of relationships require pedagogy to make further efforts to reconstitute the links not only between politics and family education, but also between members of families affected by social phenomena of isolation.
