Il maestro e Margherita al cinema: dal Wajda post-nazista al metaromanzo di Michail Lokšin

In its first part, the article summarises the main features of some of the film and television adaptations based on Michail Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita". The second part specifically analyses the recent version filmed by the Russian director Michail Lokšin, paying particular attention to the ways in which he combines and overlaps the themes and motifs of the novel with the biography of the writer and with some socio-political reflections linked to Russian history and current events.

Nella sua prima parte l'articolo riassume le principali caratteristiche di alcuni degli adattamenti cinematografici e televisivi tratti dal romanzo di Michail Bulgakov "Il maestro e Margherita". Nella seconda parte si analizza nello specifico la recente versione girata dal regista russo Michail Lokšin, con particolare attenzione alle modalità con cui egli combina e sovrappone i temi e motivi del romanzo con la biografia dello scrittore e con alcune riflessioni di tipo socio-politico legate alla storia ed attualità russa.
